Microsoft has struck a deal with Activision to have all of the upcoming content land early on the Xbox 360 (as per usual), at least for the next few years. What’s in this map pack?
More maps of course, which includes Italy, Morningwood, Overwatch, and Park. In addition to new maps, there will be new games modes, new spec ops missions, and more.
Now if you’re a PlayStation 3 or PC player, then you’re probably mad. But do not worry, as the DLC will be coming your way at a later date (although an official date has not been released at this time).
The very first Modern Warfare 3 DLC is scheduled to launch on January 24th, 2012, accessible to Call of Duty Elite members on Xbox Live initially. The Playstation 3 and PC MW3 DLC details are going to be revealed at the beginning of 2012.
Should previous installments of Call of Duty's DLC are any indication, Playstation 3 and PC gamers will need to wait a couple weeks as Xbox 360 users have the limited time exclusivity for all DLC’s.
Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s creative strategist discussed the news via a Call of Duty Elite video. "Today we informed the Call of Duty Elite Premium community that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Elite Content Season will officially kick off on January 24 for Xbox users. We'll have more details about the entire 2012 MW3 Content Season in early January, so stay tuned for updates."
"We're doing more than just maps," Robert said. "We're going to do Spec Ops missions and a variety of things that players have never seen before."
Happy new years to everyone, I hope that you had a save and fun new years eve. It's still new years day so it's never too late to party! While you were all gone I was working on a few changes around the website. You'll start noticing them soon enough when you begin to use them. It is important that you read it, there is new requirements to remain a member of the Juggernaut Brigade and it is not the responsibility of some one else to be aware of them for you.
Rumors have echoed the walls and speculations are thriving now more than ever. In two different articles from two different sources I've found the names of the upcoming maps that will be released in Map Pack #1. Now although it's hard to just agree on this since their has been no word from Infinity that their working on a Map Pack for us it might still be creditable Intel wouldn't you agree? Either way whether it's true or not the names of the maps it will also include maps from Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. Think that's great? I've got better news. The release date is suppose to be somewhere by Christmas time. Expect them here sometime late this week or early next week perhaps?
Map Names: Nostalgic, Concrete, Italy, Morning Wood, Overwatch (Spec Ops map from Modern Warfare 2) and Park.
Now if you look there's a map called "Park", on Modern Warfare 2 the Resurgence pack had a map called Trailer Park. Could this be a remake or just a coincidence? Share your inputs on the Comments.

As always if you find any errors or bugs on the website report them in the Feedback section.
Transmission: The website has seen many changes including an entirely new theme, and user interface. The Briefing Room (Forum) has now been outfitted with a statistics panel at the bottom which displays recent, and past activity including birthdays, and top contributors.
We are currently aware of an error displaying in the Videos section and we'll get back to you shortly with a fix. A Modern Warfare 3 RSS Feed has been added, and will update news and information about the game every 30 minutes if any has been added from the servers. Scheduled maintenance will happen tonight at 03:00 hrs. EST.
Transmission: Modern Warfare 3 has launched and we are ready to open our ranks! We're looking for some true hardcore COD players! If you think you've got what it takes then hop over to our enlistment page. Also, this is a new team that has just surfaced from the bottom. So if you expect something with over 50+ players keep moving, our Officers have better things to do then have you waste there time! We're all veterans from Modern Warfare and we'd like to continue with that pride.
